Whitehall Collection This collection is comprised of single family homes ranging from $419K to $442K. So we really deserve our earnest money back. Have been living in this new construction Lennar home in Odessa FL for 2 years now. The amount of issues we have had are honestly too many to fit in this box. The worst however have been the roof leaks. We have had a leak in almost every room in my house. It is raining currently and there is water pouring from the ceiling fan in my son’s bedroom. Called the Lennar “emergency line” and was told all the field reps are very busy.

Would like to have this reviewed and fixed immediately so it doesn't happen again. So then it became financially impossible to pay rent in California (Which would be around $3500) and mortgage for this new townhome (which comes around $3700) every month. We informed Lennar mortgage and they also provided us with a denial letter stating the reason as insufficient funds. Because we will not stay at this home, we cannot afford to buy it as an investment property (by putting 20% down and higher rate of interest).
Community
The hardwood floors started turning black not long after we moved in. In Lennar fashion it was like pulling teeth to get it fixed. During construction they didn't seal the slab. From the first person who showed us different models here in Simi Valley to Becky and all the people who took us through the loan process, we had a pleasant experience. The person who took us through our walk through was so friendly and expertly answered all of our question.

We recently purchased a new home and our plan, Magnolia is the first home built in the community. However, it seems like the construction wasn't according to plan. One of the issues is the placing of the gutter is different on my house compared to the same elevation the other Magnolia's was constructed.

It's not a clean look and an eye sore as if they didn't know what they were doing. My home wasn't cleaned prior to handing the keys over to me. Baseboards are dusty, top of kitchen cabinets were filthy from sanding to screws, etc. The plywood flooring in master bedroom is noisy bc they didn't screw it down.
Not even 1 month into owning the home, there has been nothing but issues. Between the A/C breaking, missing sensors, broken outlets, marks on the wall, poorly done landscaping..etc. We call almost everyday for fixes and it shouldn't be that way. Not mention, expect to be on the phone for 2 hours every time for anything.

We are for sure greatful for Melissa and emmanuel because without them we may not have been able to buy a home. Along with Melissa the final person we worked with was Moses brisno although it was for a short time he was really helpful as well as with Melissa with helping us close and offer suggestions. This community offers single family and next gen homes. 1) We signed a mortgage contingency that says if we are able to inform the builders within the mortgage contingency period and we get the denial, the money should be returned to the buyer. I purchased a home four months back and about a month ago, noticed saturation in one bedroom, water gushing UP from the PVC pipe where my hot and cold water comes from.
I stepped on a carpet staple and got a hole in my foot because they left it bare and uncovered. I also called them twice to fix my porch, because puddles kept on forming after rainfall. They kept saying that there is no problem with the porch.
Worried the integrity of our foundation/soil/months of standing water..possible mold, contamination & compression and compaction issues. I've purchased homes by Shea Homes, Pulte/Centex, and now Lennar. I would say the Lennar is the worst quality of all. It's about rushing and completing the homes than the quality.
From start to finish we’ve had a great experience with Lennar. Our salesperson and construction manager did an excellent job keeping us up to date on the progress of our home. Prior to closing we met twice with the construction manager to make sure any construction or quality issues were addressed. A few follow up issues came up after we moved in and Lennar was quick to correct them . We’ve been in our new home for about a month and a half and so far things couldn’t have gone better. We had cracked tiles replaced at our one year warranty timeframe for our new Lennar house.

A builder that claimed to build us quality homes and promised outstanding customer service, does such a shotty job, have lumbers separate at joints in 2 years and indicate they are not be responsible. In 2014 we moved into a house built by Lennar and that's when the nightmare started. There were many issues with this house, but the main one is the floor.
